Character creation - Vampire the Masquerade RPG - Kiel Greenscales
Kiel "Greendcales" Gauthier is a small and determined clothing designer. They are an intersex little fella that wants to make the weird and exotic be normalized and not looked down on. He likes diagonals and organic shapes, and for him, minimalism and symmetry are boring. Oh, and he is a Vampire--or... a "member"... or a "licker" (a term which he hates)... A Kindred Toreator.
I started on papper so I could get some ideas down fast. Quich and dirty, I started to implement his signature diagonals.
Exploring hair design and body proportions, I drew over a lot of tweaks before reaching this state.
separating references, moodboard and minor tweaks
Nailing face propostions, I wanted them to have a more square and small face.
Also the hair was a bit of a process to nail, It was supposed to be cool and weird, following their diagonal theme.
choosing colors and which type of tones they'd use was very fun.
at last, the little glasses was just a joke between friends that I quickly implemented and ended up liking.
